To activate your product by using the Internet, start Visio, and then follow these steps: In the Activation Wizard, click Activate by using the Internet, and then click Next. Read the Microsoft Office Privacy Policy page, and then click Next. On the Customer Information page, type your personal information.

In Windows Media Player, click the Tools menu, and then click License Management. Select the folder where you want to back up the license information, and then click Backup Now. Microsoft recommends that you use the default location: My Documents.
